ACCESS

"In November 2005, Gov. Bob Riley, as well as the Alabama Department of Education. launched ACCESS distance Learning as an exciting new method of delivering high-quality courses state wide, including areas where there might not have been available before." ACCESS provides opportunities for Alabama public School students to learn in AP, elective and many more courses where they might not have had further access to.
The ACCESS program provides high-quality classroom courses, teachers, and technology. Te program uses much technology through video-cams as well as other resources to interact with the teachers as well as students interacting with other students about the classes. This program seems like it will really help benefit students who would like more challenging and more classes which they cant get. Through the ACCESS program there are also many resources available to teachers. ACCESS gives all sorts of web links for art counseling, lesson plans, technology, English, math ex. to teachers. This program benefits students as well as teachers.
